The name Primrose Hill was first used in the 15th century because of the flowers that grew there. At this time a legendary fortune-teller, predicted that when London surrounded Primrose Hill the streets of the city would run with blood.

Spring is in the Air
Spring has definitely arrived. Walking home past Kensington Gardens I was mesmorised by the colonies of daffodils that have literally sprung up overnight that I had to stop and admire their beauty!

Pogo
This is an oldie but my all-time FAVOURITE song! It reminds me of being young and carefree and driving round with friends with nowhere in particular to go just so you can blast tunes out of your car stereo. Everyone has a song that brings back those memories, what song is yours?

'Street-Art' Street
Do you know where this is? Nestled right behind Bethnal Green Road at the end of Brick Lane lies one of my favourite streets in East London. Not only do I use Redchurch Street as a short cut to/from work everyday but I love walking up and down this street looking at the ever-changing street art that fills the walls, floor and various nooks and crannies. It just puts you in a great mood walking through this loud mess of colour and the young east-Londoners spilling out of the bars and cafes onto the street provide an interesting fashion perve!

Camden Market
My friend Bronte and I went to Camden market on the weekend and bought the most amazing donuts. We picked one of the ones on display and watched the man make it for us, mmmm fresh! I got white chocolate and she got chocolate-sprinkle. The hut is always there just under the railway bridge at the entrance to the markets. Although it was freezing and we were slighlty hungover, we casually strolled the the markets and as always came home with miscellaneous items we didn't need. I really do love the atmosphere of camden markets on the weeknd. I can't wait for the summer when everyone will be eating/drinking along the canal with their toes dipped into the water watching the houseboats slowly pass by.
